With the help of the advanced computer technology, there are cutting cost, reduce the time consuming activities and more productivity.
Livecasting or screencasting is a computer program which captures the participant with the web camera or onscreen video/movie with the screen shooting program.
virtual meeting or life meeting is a computerized meeting which help participants to meet each other via their TV/computer screen whom are in different terrestrial.
This technology is widely used as conference/meeting/training/broadcasting in entertainment, education, politic, army and business.
Using with the computer, camera and speaker, virtual meeting help reducing crowd, cost and time consuming. It is an interactive program so that very useful for training class.
Google, yahoo, microsoft and other companies provides chatting , video chatting service, blogging and Interactive messaging service.
Here are some example of live chatting.
Example 1 is the web discussion between two online users. Chelsea was asked about CISCO course. Example 2 show question and answer about usage of the autoCAD.

A dream business for Chelsea is opening a Burmese dancing school where dancing classes were provided together with renting dancer dress. Burmese food and traditional souvenir could also be available. In order to promote the business, this micro-blogging network is a good place to advertise for people/group who are interested about culture, dance , music and entertainment.
Micro-blogging is quite good for servicing company, traveling company, technology company. But for the entertainment industry, micro-blogging is not useful. Entertainment can be arranged regular programs, weekly programs and variety of program in dancing, music, cinema , education and communication programs.
Micro-blogging is quite useful for small training school like art school where dancing, singing, instrumental class are trained. Instructor can send messaging to related group or sending only students or all.
Instead of sending message to all members, sending some sets of small groups whom sharing the same interest. It is good to save server space and time. And, it’s also able to avoid unwanted message.

1. Theme
I choose my Topic “Golden Land of Burmese Dance” which is intended to share our traditional dance not only for the Burmese people, but also for all over the world.
Many readers wonder why Burma is called “the Golden Land”. The Burmese Pagan dynasty (1044 ~ 1084 AD) was very powerful and prosperous. Many kings built pagodas and Buddha statues which were gilt with pure gold, because they wanted to show out that they were rich and they could afford to donate for Buddhism. Gold was widely for Buddha statues, pagodas, palaces and monastery. Gold was also essential for royal objects such as jewelry, house, cloth, catering stuff, chair, bed, etc. Naturally, Burma has plenty of golden pagodas anywhere and tourists agree to give the name of “The Golden Land of Burma”.
Entertainment makes people happy, less stressed, relaxed, and less anxious. Dancing and music are inseparable forms of entertainment. The power of entertainment can help people away from suicide, battle, quarrel, fighting, and misunderstanding. It also helps people to forget or to reduce the sad condition temporarily.
Most people know Thai dancing but they are not familiar with Burmese dancing. Thai’s dance is gentle and performs slow movement, but Burmese dance offers both fast and slow movement. One dance and another do not the same method. Depend on the festival (For example: New Year, Full moon day), Buddha day (For example: Buddha’s date of birthday, Special first day of Buddha day), region (For example: upper Burma, Lower Burma, Mountain or flat division), ethnicity (Shan, Mon, Ka Yin), cities (Mandalay, Yangon, Thaung Ggyi), villages, place and etc.
My first priority is to introduce our traditional dance. Second priority is to share Burmese culture, and the third priority to invite new learners. It’s not only for fun but also for physically exercise for all interested dancers.

Anxiety, Difficulty and Funny behind the performance

Burmese dance can be performed as a single dance, duet dance or group dance.
Single dance is the best for the dancer. She or he can dance in free style. Even make mistake, can carry out until time up as long as it is not competition.
Duet dance and group dance is not easy. In duet dance, (two females/males dance) is similar to the group dance. Everybody move the dancing step together in every second. If someone is delay or faster than the other, the performance is not nice to watch.
If duet dance is couple dance with male and female performer, both of them need to support each other. If one makes mistake, the other needs to support and follow with suitable dancing step. So audiences will not notice the mistake of the performers.
In group dance, every dancer has responsibility to take part. Everybody must support each other and perform the whole performance.
Practicing before the performance is not easy. It take 1 day ahead to three month in advance. If the group performance is an opera, practicing time will be take more longer and earlier.
In order to have a good performance, all dancers must be interested in dancing, willing to take part, willing to share each other and co-operate each other. Adult dancer is an easy learner but the child. Children are playful and do not want to listen if they bore to dance. Against the instructor, stop dancing at the middle of the performance. It is the big head-ache to train the performance with children.
There is a the most difficult puppet dance performance with the children. Before and at the performance time, the parent of children performer, leading dancer and organizers are anxious and worry not to finish the performance. Depend on the child dancers’ mood and co-operation, the performance is pretty good and got support from the audiences.

In the practicing time, a little dancer refuse to dance. Grand mother, leading dancer (instructor) and some other adult dancers must do the trick to make the little dancer to follow the instructor. Giving snack, toy, playing cartoon video are the main control method for her grand mother.
Here is video how to train the little angles 2 moths in advance before the performance.
At the performing time, there are a lot of difficulty behind the stage. While little dancer and two boys were sitting and playing behind the curtain. A father of a boy also managing them behind the curtain. He has head ache to manage them not to play loudly. When the time is up for little dancer to come out from the curtain, a big problem occurs to one of the boys. His costume rob became looses and require to tighten again. It cause delay the performance.
After the little dancer come out, two boys did not turn up. It is the boy whom rob loose and drop to the ground due to the accident with the curtain handle. His father tighten up his rob quickly but time delay. Due to the quick tighten up, his costume is not proper, unrepresentable and ugly.
It causes the boys not to turn up to the front stage at the end of the performance.
Training the children dancer under 10 is very difficult. Amazingly this performance is the best among the others.
Attractive Burmese’s dance dress

Burma is rich of natural resources such as gold, silver, oil, ruby, diamond, jade, sapphire, etc. So that Burmese royal wear full of gold from head to toe. So that royal dress for king, queen , prince and princess are very heavy and made with gold plate and jewelery. It expected to be more than 10 kg in weight and 6′ in height. Old kingdom age Burmese are big and strong according to the dress of royal. A pair of king’s shoe at museums are 18″ long.

The hat (crown) and shoe are made of gold string and jewelery. Clothes are made of colorful silk. Wearing decorator string over the shirt. King is holding 4 face of 12″ knife. Even knife is encrusted with jewelery and gold. Everything for royal are made of gold, jewelery and silk such as umbrella, knife, chair, bed, towel, etc. necklaces, bracelet, bangle ring, ear-ring such as jewelery also help the weight to the royal dress.
Burmese dancers are particularly dance for the king. Their dress are made of imitation gold and imitation jewelery encrusted clothes. Because only the royal and top king’s management are allowed to wear gold dress.

Here are attractive uniform of the dress which depend on the type of dance.
Male dancer (for Burmese prince dance) wearing hat, long shirt, long skirt (saroon), cloth decoration string, wrist decoration sheet and jewelery.
Female dancer (for Burmese princess dance) wearing bee heigh, long blouse, long skirt (saroon), cloth decoration string, wrist decoration sheet and jewelery.
Male dancer (for ministry dance) wearing long hat, leg length long jacket, cloth decoration string and no jewelery. This dance is only for male. Because king never give the ministry title to the woman.
Male dancer (for spiritual dance) wearing Shaw hat, waist towel, long shirt and long skirt with flower or liqueur. This dance is for spiritual people whom died and powerful mysterious image. Some people warship to the spiritual mysterious for business.
Female dance .. as above.
There are 14 provinces in Burma and more than 20 races are living in Burma. Here are traditional dresses for some races.

Systematic Burmese dance

Burmese dance is a systematic structured movement of the body. The whole body parts must move smoothly, soft and change due to different movement.
There are 3 categories of the performance. A single dance, duet dance and group dance performance.
Male performer and female performer has similar dance steps but different in structural steps.
Dance steps for male performer is more difficult like jumping, circling, diving in the air.
For female dance steps, the movement is soft, gentle, and no jumping. Female performer must squad all the time unless sitting. The important part for the female performer is how to shake the train of the dress. Raising train support the beauty of dancing steps. Since the train is 1.5 meters long, it cause difficult to dance while moving. If the performer does not know how to control the train, she could be falling down.
In general male performer wares 20 meters of cloth sheet known as sarong. Female performer wears 4 meters of sarong but the length of the train is 1 meter to 2 meter long.
The dancing uniform will be explained in next post.
The most famous dance for male is prince dance and for female is princess dance. Here is the nice show of duet dance of prince and princess dance.
All dancers must know the basic Burmese dance. Dancer can modify, select and combine steps from the basic step.
Now modern Burmese dance is modified and mixture with western dance step.
